Lowes Bargain Barn Furniture was founded by the late Ferrell Lowe in South Zanesville, OH in 1984 dealing mostly with used furniture. Ferrell moved Lowe's Bargain Barn Furniture to 3019 Maysville Pike in 1991. Paul Lowe joined his father in 1992, shortly thereafter; they introduced a new furniture line and added new mattress sets to the inventory. Paul’s son, Big Ben joined the family business as a partner in June 2011. Barbara, Paul’s, mother also helps out daily with business operations. Family is truly the focus of the business!
As a family business we value our community and schools. Every year we support Maysville programs and we give to local charity events. We sponsor an orphan and have for many years now.
